Avionics Embedded Systems

چکیده
The Avionics Embedded System (AES) includes the hardware and software required for the command & control of the spacecraft, its failure detection, isolation and recovery and all the mission and vehicle management functions including all functional chains. The AES is the brain of the spacecraft and therefore is a vital organ for the execution of onboard functions. It represents today between 30 and 70 % of the platform development costs (50% in average for an ESA mission).

Efficient memory control for avionics and embedded systems
Modern aircrafts have seen a significant growth of avionics systems. Most of new aircrafts have systems for navigation, automatic flight control, collision avoidance systems, flight data recorder, weather radar system as well as communication and monitoring systems. All of these systems use embedded computer systems with increasing memory requirements. In order to reduce the electricity consume...
متن کاملMADES: Embedded Systems Engineering Approach in the Avionics Domain
This article introduces the MADES Project [1]. MADES is developing new model-driven technologies to improve current practices in the development of embedded systems for the avionics and surveillance embedded systems industries, in particular taking advantage of MARTE [3], the OMG UML profile dedicated to Modelling and Analysis of Real time and Embedded Systems. The project is applying a holisti...
متن کاملEconomical Memory Management for Avionics Systems
Unlike old-fashioned aircrafts that almost did not have avionics systems, up to date aircrafts have numerous avionics systems. Nearly all new aircrafts have devices for navigation, automatic flight control, collision avoidance systems, flight data recorder, weather radar system in addition to communication and monitoring systems. All of these devices employ embedded computer systems with growin...
متن کاملCapturing Timing Requirements Formally in Amn
This paper classi es the timing requirements that arise in embedded avionics systems. A typical avionics system motivates the work. Its timed specication is presented, from which we extract guiding principles for developing Timed Abstract Systems. A discussion focuses on the insights that can be gained when modelling the timed requirements formally within AMN.

متن کاملRobustness analysis of avionics embedded systems
Avionics embedded systems are confronted to sensors errors or inaccuracies. It is essential to be able to estimate the impact and the propagation of these errors on the system computed outputs. This paper comes from achieved work in the context of an industrial project in the avionics area. It presents a formal approach allowing to analyse the reaction of a LUSTRE program to inaccurate input va...
